~Finding Full & Empty
~"Beginning" Posture
Be sure to use the diagonal line every time you find your full and empty. Do not rush it, or try to find a rhythm to these things. It's about patience and feeling it correctly. To slow down, is to take in the world around you, and see how much the world can go by in the smallest amount of movement. Do not allow your body to set the pace. Set the pace by following your breathing, and remember to breath as slow as comfortable. These is no race, there is only time invested.
Beginning posture is important in that it demonstrates Wuji into Taiji. Always step empty now. This must set a good example for the rest of the form. Keep the knees forward, bent, and wide. Sink into the bubbling well when shifting, do not shift forward-backward. Sink down into the leg which is filling.
